Finally, recognize that your eyes must remain open while spraying; many people close their eyes when using pepper spray, but realize that you might need to adjust your aim, and your eyes will need to be open in order for you to discern this! Hopefully, you will never have to use your pepper spray, but when you follow these tips, you will know how to use it effectively should the situation ever arise!
